Phillip Steele

Dr. Phillip M. Steele has focused his medical practice on non-operative orthopedics and musculoskeletal care since completing a Family Practice Residency and an extra year of Fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He is Boarded through the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.  In addition, he is credentialed in RMSK (Registered Musculoskeletal Ultrasound) and is one of the top musculoskeletal ultrasound experts in the country. He is a frequent speaker at numerous medical conferences yearly and is considered one of the leading national and international experts on the evaluation and treatment of the brachial and cervical plexus injury, peripheral nerve entrapments and posterior neck injury using high-resolution ultrasound. He has chosen to specialize in non-operative sports medicine and interventional regenerative orthopedic medicine (IROM).

He is further recognized as one of the leading authorities on scapular dysfunction and pain syndromes and regularly lectures and teaches workshops to help other physicians understand this complex region.  With recent advancements of a new ultrasound imaging technique called Shear Wave Elastography (SWE) Dr. Steele can now diagnose and identify treatment areas that aren’t well recognized with traditional imaging techniques such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). We are proud to be a leader in this emerging new technology as Dr. Steele has lectured nationally and internationally on the clinical use of SWE in identifying musculoskeletal injury.
