Professor Max Paquette, PhD, FACSM

Max Paquette is a Professor of Biomechanics and Sports Science in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Memphis, where he has taught, mentored students, and conducted applied research since 2012.

His work focuses on lower-limb biomechanics, running and gait mechanics, load management, footwear technology, and sport performance, with an emphasis on translating scientific insight into practical solutions for athletes, coaches, clinicians, and industry partners. He earned his PhD in Biomechanics/Sports Medicine from the University of Tennessee and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
